Similar to the popular Lakes like Ghodaghodi Lake of Far Western Region, Joker Lake, Aali Lake, Rani Lake and Wawa Lake, this Bitkot Lake too is very popular and important lake which lies in Daiji VDC- 1 of Kanchanpur district. This lake is located in about 13 kilometer north from East- West Mahendra Highway which has its own historical importance.

Bitkot Lake is surrounded its every side by mountains and trees but though it has been believed that no any single leaves of the tree would ever fall in to the lake water. This lake and belief has been viewed with the religious significance. It has believed that even if we look closer at the lake then at the center of the lake we can see the blame of the light.

Even the wall has not been made around the Betkot Lake that lies as the major lake in Far western. Even, where the walls have been built that are also made in an unmanaged way. Till the date it has not been discovered that depth of the lake where fresh water used to flow but also it has been suspected that the lake might be very deep.
