Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Monday said that the government will provide a total of Rs 500,000 each to the earthquake victims. According to him, out of the total amount, Rs 300,000 would be provided as a grant and Rs 200,000 as a public collateral loan. Speaking at the Parliament’s Development Committee, PM Dahal mentioned that Rs 100,000 would be an addition to the earlier grant of Rs 200,000 for the earthquake victims. “Additional Rs 100,000 will be provided to the earthquake victims to construct their houses. The decision to that end will be taken within few days,” Dahal said, “I am working to fulfill the dream of the earthquake victims to rebuild their houses”.
