"The inspection that is carried out by Nepal government should be considered good. Almost every shop they inspect is found faulty in many ways; however, they make only inspection but no punishment to any shop at all,"says Consumerist Mr. SitaramAdhikari.

Accordingly, health services, petrol pumps, meat shops, big hotels and grocery stores are inspected. However, not even a single business was brought under punishment. The inspection was limited to inspection only. There has been seen no any effect of the inspection. 

Though the inspection should be continued every time; the seasonal inspection can bring no any changes, as the consumers have made claim. "The inspection has been made inspection only. As if they are doing the inspection just for show up and nothing else.

Though we are businessmen, we have realized the inspection is for inspection and for formality only. Just imagine what may be the perspective from the consumers. For the interest of the consumers, this inspection does not make any effectiveness.

 This is what I feel," says a businessman in the district. "Inspection has been done. It has been done in small shops only. Only papers have been checked. There has not been any special focus in the quality and price control," says SujanDawadi, a consumer.
