Sep 07 2016 - Right after the increment in the activeness of the traffic; the awareness has been increased in drivers, passengers and the pedestrians. In comparison to last four years, the number of accidents and the number of people discarding traffic rules have been decreased. Out of negligible number of accidents in the last four years, there has been very less number of accidents due to the mistakes of human beings, as claimed by the traffic.

Though there was no accident due to human beings’ mistake, last year 4 people died in 16 accidents. Accordingly, this year, 7 people have been deceased, including 4 men, 2 women and 1 child, according to the information given by traffic police office, Parwat. Accordingly, there are 17 critically injured including 13 men, 2 women and 2 girls, according to Traffic Head Mr. MahendraRanabhat.

In 2072-73, there has been total 17 vehicle accidents including 2 buses, 1 truck, 4 jeeps, 4 tractors, and 4 motorbike. Total 7 people have died in the accidents incluiding 3 men, 2 women and 1 child. There are serious injuries as well, out of which, 13 men, 2 women; there are no young boy there, but there are 2 young girls. This is how, total 17 people are seriously injured. In the normal injuries, there are 6 normal injured including 2 men, 2 women, 1 young boy and 1 young girl.

In 071/72, traffic had collected Rs.34,18,350 as the revenue from 9674 traffic office. In annual 16 accidents, 4 were deceased and 40 were injured. At the end of the fiscal year 2072/073, the decrement in the collection of the revenue, decrease in accidents have been observed due to public awareness programs launched by traffic through different means, as claimed by the traffic police office Parbat.
