An alternate school is simply a school that doesn’t provide a complete traditional learning experience. This is a very broad definition, and, because of that, alternate high schools can vary widely. Alternate schools are created to help troubled students who could not receive education because of various reasons.

Therefore to help women of Beni headquarter, Myagdi, who were unable to receive even formal primary education, Bright Alternate School has been operated in Beni. The school is operated in order to provide adult education to the deprived women of Beni.

A function was held in Beni headquarter for the operation of the school. Former Ministry of Livestock Development Naradevi Pun inaugurated the function. She gave a speech in the function mentioning the importance of education especially for housewives. She mentioned the statement that if a woman gets educated, the whole family gets educated.

District Education Officer Ram Prasad Adhikar addressing the function, informed that Primary Level course will be taught in the classes in Bright Alternate School. A total fund of five lakh has been raised from different organizations and people for the initiation of the classes.
