Nepali film Chakka Panjja has celebrated success party today at Kathmandu. A cake cutting program was held at Cine D Chef Theater of Kathmandu where most of the cast and crew were present where they celebrated the success of the movie along with a dinner. Also all the cast and crew watched the film together with audience.

These are the stone taps where there used to come limpid and large water till few years ago but now even a single drop of water comes from these taps.

Along with the population growth and urbanizations the sources of water begun to dry due to which the water stopped to come in stone tap said the locals. After the water stopped to come, taps that have engraved with traditional designs and images have become useless.

Bikhman Bijander, local said earlier there used to come pure water from stone but these days but know water has topped to come and the main reason to dry up taps are the construction of buildings are going on continuously along with well due to which water started top dry up in stone tap.

From most of the stone taps of Kathmandu valley that have carried historical importance water used to come in monsoon season but these days water have dried up. Laxmi Khatri, resident of Lalitpur, Patan used to be depending in stone tap for water last few years but now, as water started to dry in stone tap he has to be in 5-6 hours queue for a single pitcher, she complained.

As water begun to dry, stone taps are becoming useless these days. These pays, not only the traditional means of water has dried up but also the extreme scarcity of water too has been growing day by day. And all of these problems are happening just because of highly growth rate of population and the urbanization of the city.

Former home minister and chief secretary Madhav Prasad Ghimire has gone missing along with two others on Sunday after a car carrying seven people plunged into the Trishuli River on their way back to Kathmandu from a pilgrimage to Muktinath temple.

Bodies of three killed during the mishap have been recovered while one lucky survivor was rescued from the site.

उनको भ्रमणका वेला नेपालले यसबारे प्रस्ताव गरे पनि भारतले हेरौँला भन्ने जवाफ दिएको छ। यसका लागि भारतको कानुन संशोधन हुनुपर्छ । विद्युत् बजार खुला नभएका कारण माथिल्लो कर्णाली, अरुण तेस्रोको पिपिए भएको छैन । पिपिए नभएका कारण परियोजनाहरूले लगानी जुटाउन नसकेको गुनासो गरेको सरकारी अधिकारीले बताए । पिपिएका लागि अरुण तेस्रोमा समस्या नरहेको भारतीय अधिकारीहरूले बैठकमा बताएका थिए ।

भारतको सरकारी कम्पनी सतलज जलविद्युत् निगमले अरुण तेस्रो निर्माण गर्ने गरी परियोजना विकास सम्झौता पहिले नै भएको छ । तर, निजी कम्पनी जिएमआरले निर्माण गर्ने माथिल्लो कर्णालीबारे भारतले चाँडै नै पिपिए गर्ने वचन दिएको लामो समय भए पनि कार्यान्वयन भएको छैन।


नेपाली अधिकारीहरूको बुझाइमा भारतीय बजारमा विद्युत्को भाउ सस्तो छ, तर उसले छिमेकीहरूलाई महँगोमा विद्युत् बेचिरहेको छ । यही कारण भारतले विद्युत्को स्वतन्त्र व्यापारमा सहमति नजनाएको उनीहरूको निष्कर्ष छ । भारतीय खुला बजारमा विद्युत्को मूल्य प्रतियुनिट भारु दुई रुपैयाँ ७० पैसा छ।


तर, उसले नेपाललाई औसत तीन रुपैयाँ ६० पैसा भारुमा र बंगलादेशलाई पाँच रुपैयाँ भारुमा बिक्री गरिरहेको छ । खुला बजारमा गइसकेपछि भारतबाट दुई रुपैयाँ ७० पैसामा बिजुली खरिद गर्न सकिन्छ, भारतलाई त्यसबाट फाइदा छैन, नेपाली अधिकारी भन्छन्, त्योभन्दा पनि खुला बजारमा गइसकेपछि नेपालमा चिनियाँ लगानीकर्ताले विद्युत् उत्पादन गर्ने र भारतमा सहुलियतमा बेच्ने सम्भावना हुने भन्दै भारतीय पक्ष यसमा तयार नभएको हामीले पायौँ । आजको नयाँ पत्रिकाबाट

The search for the missing former Home Minister, Madhav Prasad Ghimire, along with his two brothers resumed this morning at Dahrechowk VDC –3, Ghoptebhir along the Prithvi Highway, where a jeep they were travelling in fell into the Trishuli river below on Sunday evening. Chief District Office, Binod Prakash Singh, said the search had continued until 1:30 am and resumed at 5:30 am again.

He said hook anchor and magnets were being used to search for the missing jeep and the missing persons but without any results as yet. A lighting tower has been kept in constant use through help of a generator. CDO Singh said a Nepal Army (NA) Disaster Management battalion team has also been mobilized to help in the rescue effort. The NA personnel along with Armed Police Force and Nepal Police have been continuing their search at the site of the incident. The Armed Police Disaster Management

Training Centre team has also been helping in the search for the missing former Home Minister and his family members. The search is continuing despite the murky river condition and high current. The former Home Minister along with his brothers Prakash and Mohan Ghimire are still unaccounted for while the dead bodies of their mother, Chaitanya Kumar Ghimire, 80, security guard Armed Police Sub Inspector, Ram Chandra Karki, and nephew, Narayan Kafle, have been recovered.

हुनत पहिला जोया जे जसरि नेपाल छाडे पनि अब नेपाल जाँदा भने जीवन मगरको श्रीमतीको हैसियतमै कागज सहित जाने भएकोले उनलाई छेक्न नैतिक रुपले मिल्दै मिल्दैन तैपनि सरकारी कागजमै स्पस्ट २ बर्से निषेध लेखिएकोले त्यसलाई हटाउन ठुलै अघिकार प्राप्त अघिकारिको तोक हस्ताक्षर चाहिने हुन्छ ।

यसैगरी सत्येदेवी–३ का तिलबहादुर तामाङ, री गाउँ विकास समिति–८ का चन्द्रमान तामाङ, वडा नम्बर ८ कै मन तामाङ, री–२ का कासा लामा तामाङ, दार्खा–९ का रामचन्द्र सापकोटा, मार्पाक–५ की दीलकुमारी पौडेल र उनकी छोरी कमला पौडेलको पहिचान खुलेको छ।

त्यसैगरी बसका चालक गोरखा जिल्लाका गंगा सुनारको पनि दुर्घटनास्थलमा नै ज्यान गएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ।

“मनास्लु पदमार्गमा पर्यटक हिँडे फाट्टफुट्ट स्याउ बिक्री हुन्छ,” लामाले भन्नुभयो । पदमार्गको आसपासमा खुलेका होटलमा स्याउ बिक्रीका लागि राखिएको भए पनि बिक्री नहुँदा किसान चिन्तित छन् । पाकेको स्याउ सदरमुकाम तथा काठमाडौँ पु-याउन सके मनग्य आम्दानी हुने किसान बताउँछन् ।

सडक पहुँच नहुँदा स्याउ ढुवानी गर्न सकिएको छैन । मनास्लु संरक्षण क्षेत्र आयोजना र जिल्ला कृषि विकास कार्यालयले बर्सेनि स्याउका बिरुवा बाँड्ने गरेका छन् । यस वर्ष मनास्लु पदमार्ग भएर पर्यटक नआएका कारण स्याउको बिक्री ह्वात्तै घटेको छ । बिक्रीमा ह्रास आएपछि किसानले छ्याङ, रक्सी बनाउन थालेका छन् । स्याउलाई कुहिन नदिन छ्याङ बनाउनुपरेको प्रोकका पेमा लामा बताउनुहुन्छ ।

सदरमुकामबाट स्याउ उत्पादित क्षेत्रमा पुग्न करिब पाँच÷छ दिन लाग्छ । किसानले बाटो असजिलो भएका कारण स्याउ बजारसम्म पु-याउन सकेका छैनन् । मनास्लु संरक्षण क्षेत्र आयोजनाका प्रमुख राजकुमार गुरुङका अनुसार खच्चडबाट स्याउ ढुवानी गर्दा धेरै महँगो पर्छ । “स्याउभन्दा ढुवानीको पैसा बढी लाग्छ,” उहाँले भन्नुभयो । सरकारले स्याउ ढुवानीमा सहयोग गर्न सकेमा उत्तरी भेगमा उत्पादित स्याउ बजारसम्म ल्याउन सकिने गुरुङको भनाइ छ ।

जिल्ला कृषि विकास कार्यालयका प्रमुख तीर्थकुमार श्रेष्ठ स्याउका चाना बनाएर राख्न सकिने बताउनुहुन्छ । उत्पादन राम्रो भए पनि उत्पादित स्याउले बजार नपाउँदा उत्तरी भेगका किसान व्यावसायिक स्याउ खेतीतर्फ आकर्षित हुन सकेका छैनन् । बजारमा भारतीय स्याउको मूल्य दिनहुँ आकासिएको छ तर, उत्तरी गोरखाका विभिन्न ठाउँमा फलेका स्याउ बजारसम्म ल्याउन सकिएको छैन । रासस -

विश्वका विकसित मुलुकमा भन्दा गरिव मुुलुकमा स्वच्छ हावाको अभाव देखिएको छ । यस प्रदूषणले विश्वका हरेक व्यक्तिलगायत समाजलाई असर पारेको छ ।

“यो सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्यको आपतकालिन अवस्था हो,” नेइराले भन्नुभयो, “प्रदूषण नियन्त्रणका लागि तत्काल प्रशस्त काम गर्नु अत्यावश्यक छ ।”

विश्वका सबै सरकारी निकायले सडकमा सवारी साधनको सङ्ख्या घटाउनुपर्दछ भने पकाउनका लागि स्वच्छ ऊर्जाको प्रयोग गर्नुपर्दछ,” प्रतिवेदनमा जनाइएको छ ।

सत्यदेवीका उद्धारका लागि दार्खास्थित प्रहरी चौकी र जिल्ला प्रहरीबाट मिनीट्रकमा ३० जना प्रहरी पठाइएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । टिकटको काउन्टले दिएको चलानीमा कुनै पनि यात्रुको नाम ठेगाना लेखिएको छैन । एउटै व्यक्तिले धेरै टिकट खरिद गर्ने भएकाले टिकटमा नाम नलेखिने काउन्टर सञ्चालकले बताएका छन् ।
दुर्घटनास्थल सदरमुकाम धादिङवेसीबाट ३२ किलोमिटर दूरीमा पर्छ । प्रहरीका अनुसार दुर्घटनामा परेको बसको रुट परमिट छैन । बर्षात्ले बिग्रेको ग्रामीण सडक मर्मत संभार नभएपछि दुर्घटना भएको प्रहरीको भनाई छ ।
